It is better that management and design no be separated. Designer who only design need to team up with business partner. They are bound to be brought into the business-oriented cycle where you can no longer enjoy your creative freedom, That is a disadvantage. If you have both,you can keep a balance witin your head. You should be able to strike the right balance by managing your creative mind and also your business mind. This,I Believe,applies equally to those on the management side.
